HyperHeal is Baltimore’s largest privately-held AAAHC accredited wound care and hyperbaric medical practice. We aim to improve the health of those we serve with a commitment to excellence in all that we do. Our goal is to offer quality care and programs that set community standards, exceed patients’ expectations and are provided in a caring, convenient, cost-effective and accessible manner.
HyperHeal strives to be the world’s leader in patient experience, clinical outcomes and be the most sought after outpatient wound care and hyperbaric medical center.
Dr. Franklin & the staff are AWESOME. I had really bad wound from cellulitis that I didn't think would heal. HyperHeal worked their magic and I am just about fully healed.
I went to GBMC for one year, 4 months and was discharged unhealed. I came to Dr. Orlando and I was healed in a few months.
I was there for both Hyperbarics and Wound Care. I received excellent care in both sides. Everyone that I met were wonderful, professional people.
Thank you for the care and compassion you have shown me during my recovery. Excellent care given by all staff!
The doctor at HyperHeal Hyperbarics was very caring – like he was a family member & that really touched my heart. Blessed to have such a wonderful doctor.
Very pleased with my experience at HyperHeal Hyperbarics. The staff was the best and the facilities are always very clean. I highly recommend HBOT for people.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. After you are checked in, one of our physicians will obtain your medical history, evaluate your overall health and examine the status of any wounds you may have. Please bring a list of your allergies, medications, and your insurance card to your visit.
If you have mobility issues, our staff is here to assist you into one of our comfortable treatment HBOT chambers.
We’ve got you covered and we keep it simple. In order to offer a seamless experience and make our services more accessible to more people, we do not charge expensive ‘facility fees.’ We accept most major insurance plans as well as Medicare and bill for services through your insurance. We believe in transparency, which is why we’ll go over your coverage with you prior to treatment. If, by chance, your services are not covered, we offer an affordable cash-pay option.
Patients should call: 410-433-4300. All calls are centralized to the 4300 number and the caller then picks the location they would like to speak with.

A consult, chest X-ray and EKG within the past 30 days
We do not recommend missing any treatments. However, there may be times when the person is not able to ‘dive’ because of health complications, conflicts in scheduling, etc. We require a 24 hour cancellation notice if the patient is unable to make the appointment.
A treatment plan is based on your diagnosis or condition. The majority of conditions require 10-40 treatments or more depending on the severity of the individual’s case.
Simply put, there is no reliable clinical evidence to support the use of mild hyperbaric therapy (blow up chambers) and we do not recommend the use of these chambers. However, the use of chambers like ours are used in clinical trials, are of medical grade and go beyond a depth of 1.4 ATA.
This is an important milestone in the continuing growth and success of our health care organization. Our accreditation shows our commitment to providing the highest levels of quality care to our patients, and the same high level of quality in our business practices. Achieving accreditation by AAAHC is proof that we have met the rigorous standards of a nationally-recognized third party.
